Hockey Happenings !

The March break tournaments are in full swing. Coaches are encouraged to send their teams results to Hockey Happenings.

The Atom 2 team played Midland 4 this week and tied 2-2. Griffen McVicar was great in net for his team. Justin ‘Shorty’ McGillivary scored the first goal on a great shot from the point. Brody Carruthers scored midway through the third to give his team the lead with assists going to Danny Patton and Ryley Townes. Midland scored late in the third and Creemore was unable to put one away in overtime.

The Creemore Atom 1 team played Shelburne 1 and won 1-0. Shelburne was gifted with a stellar goaltender, but Eric Cresswell matched him step for step between the pipes for Creemore. Kenny Baldwin Hammil scored the lone goal assisted by Jacob Clarmo.
